GVC Illuminate

* Fall 2025 Auditions Are Now Open! *

GVC Illuminate is for 4th-9th graders. This is an auditioned choir. In addition to building confidence in singing and performing, GVC Illuminate will help the young singer become more proficient in reading music and singing harmony. GVC Illuminate runs on a semester basis culminating with a final concert. They are often invited to sing at community events such as Merry Main Street, Gila Idol Preliminaries, Gila Valley Live Nativity and others.

Tuition

  • $120 for semester

    • $20 discount per student for multiple family members​

    • Referral discount: For any new GVCC member that signs up and attends, you will get $20 off your child's registration.

    • Tuition is due August 21st at the first rehearsal in the following forms:

      • Cash​

      • Venmo: Ethan-McBride27

      • Check made out to "GVC"

      • ESA Funds through Classwallet

  • $175 for semester when also enrolled in GVC Children's Chorale

Rehearsals

  • Rehearsals are held every Thursday evening from 7:00 - 7:50 PM in the Thatcher High School choir room. 

  • Rehearsal attendance is very important! If your child misses 3 consecutive rehearsals, they will be dismissed from the choir without a refund. 

Audition

  • To audition for GVC Illuminate, send a 30-90 second video singing a song of your choice and send it by August 1st to gilavalleychorale@gmail.com or (928) 965-7081
